How to lose weight in your face - use hands When you are out, especially meeting your friends or trying to impress someone, fat cheeks (whether it is body fat or baby fat) kinda gives a false impression of your personality. A slim face with nice cheek bones can make a big difference in your day to day life. While you can bite a little portion of your inner cheek using your teeth to show that you have a jawline or slim face, you can follow these advices to lose weight from your face and look much better with a glowing face.

The first thing you need to know that spot reduction is impossible and has never been scientifically proven so don’t think that you are going to get any special exercises for your face. You will have to lose weight from your whole body and the effect will come on your face directly. Here are some tips :

1) Diet for face fat loss :

Get rid of all oily and fatty foods. Remember during weight loss you want to lose your body fat. So not only do you have to burn calories faster you also have to reduce calorie intake. You can reduce 250 calories from your diet and then join a gym or do basic home exercises to burn another extra 250-300 calories each day. This way you lose 500+ calories every day. According to calculation, you will lose a pound of weight every week and your face will transfer all it’s fat to be used for exercising and other body activities. Also focus more on protein and low carbohydrate diet. You should prepare a chart to see how many calories to eat.

2) Drink lots of water :

This has two important functions for your body. One is that the excess fat gets dissolved with the water and is thrown away from your body. Second is sometimes you munch or graze on unwanted snacks because of false hunger alarms. Drinking water (approximately 8-10 ounces everyday – 10-12 glasses) will curb these false alarms and prevent unwanted addition of weight. Third important reason is that your body metabolism increases when you drink lots of water. So go ahead and start drinking.

3) Alcohol ? – Stop it immediately :

Alcohol (beer and even wine) does two very harmful things to your body. First it increases water retention (caused by dehydration) which in turn increases your weight and most important it increases face puffiness. The extra fat which is deposited on your cheek bones is caused by alcohol too. So you need to get rid of drinking as soon as possible. Instead drink protein shakes or soup. This will help you decrease your face fat.

4) Fruits and vegetables :

Why do we recommend fruits and vegetables for facial weight loss? It is because of two reasons. One is that fresh fruits and vegetables are rich in water. This means you are taking excess of water which will dissolve all the fatty molecules. Second is that they have essential vitamins and most important fibres. Fibres get rid of digestion problem and further increases your metabolism.

5) Oily food and saturated fat :

Oily food and salt, sugar etc. should be avoided. These add weight to your body and it is difficult to digest these. If you carefully notice most diet plans include raw vegetables, fruits, salads and never suggest any frying. Instead they recommend steamed or boiled food. So when eating make sure you eat less of these saturated fats. Also fast food, McD, KFC etc. should be avoided.

6) Cardio and strength exercises :

With a healthy diet plan you can lose weight in a week. You can also lose weight on a treadmill with a healthy diet plan. Basically you have to increase your circuit exercises which involve more cardio and strength exercises. These make your body pump up more energy and thus burns your fat. Try to decrease your set-timeouts and concentrate on back to back exercises. You can ask any trainer at your gym to create a perfect circuit exercise plan for your needs.
